Simulation videos of Combusting flows

Co-circular cylinder geometry. Blue: fresh mixture, red is burned products and between blue and red range is reaction zone. All flames below are simulated using Muppala’s premixed turbulent algebraic flame surface model.

A swirl premixed turbulent flame, stabilized between two low velocity (recirculation) zones
A high-pressure jet turbulent premixed flame
A stationary gas turbine, flow characteristics
A rod-stabilized premixed turbulent flame
A low-swirl burner flame, flow behaviour. Blue segments indicate negative velocity.
